SUMMARY: This report argues it is critical to start developing green jobs in order to avoid the mounting hazard global warming will cause. It includes statistics for millions of people in other countries who are already employed in the green job sector. The report also argues there is harm in many of the important green jobs- they are dangerous and some pose a threat to human health. Also, many of the current green jobs do not pay enough; which may become a problem for the economy if people cannot get out of poverty.

It claims their site is a resource for anyone who is interested in learning more about sustainable living and business practices. The site mainly carries advertisements for renewable energy businesses, such as Energy Recommerce and Sol Focus. RenewableENergyNews.com also keeps up-to-date information on the latest renewable energy technologies and trends. The report itself is academic research compiled by the United Nations Environment Programme to survey the global green job market. The mission of UNEP is to make sure countries who are a part of the United Nation’s are aware of the harms of global warming through education. 

USEFULNESS: This article  illustrates that there is a global trend and demand for energy efficient jobs. The report also lists that there are dangerous jobs in the green sector as well as low-paying jobs. Both of these issues need to be addressed through research and reconstruction. It warns against the harms of global warming if the world does not start employing more renewable energy resources.
